Tell us what's at the address

When you save an address, you can note three things about it:

• An outdoor tap they can use. Some packages need a water source; if yours doesn't have one within reach, say so.
• An outdoor outlet they can use. Same idea, for anything that needs power.
• Covered or shaded parking. Useful in direct sun or bad weather.

This is saved on the address, not asked again every time you book — say it once and every future job at that address carries it. It matters because a detailer is being sent to a home they've never seen. What's actually there when they arrive determines what's workable, and finding out at the door costs everyone time.

Access notes

There's also a free-text field for how to actually get in: gate code, which driveway, where to park. If you won't be home, this is how your detailer finds the car without you standing outside. It's shown to whichever detailer is currently assigned to the job — not before, and not after that assignment ends.

What a detailer brings

Detailers on Dripbase supply their own equipment. A detailer's rig can include its own water tank, a generator, and a pressure washer, but that setup isn't the same for every detailer, and which detailer you get isn't something you choose in advance. Telling us honestly whether water and power are available at your address is what lets whoever gets dispatched know what to expect, rather than finding out standing in your driveway.

Your vehicle

Pick the vehicle you're booking for from your saved vehicles when you book. Vehicles are filed by size — 2-seater, sedan, SUV/van, or truck — and that's what the detailer expects to see. If the car that shows up is a different size or a different vehicle than what was booked, say so in the notes when you book, or update your saved vehicle beforehand.

What you don't need to do

You don't need to move the car yourself, wash off surface dirt first, or be present for the appointment, as long as your access notes explain how to get in and to the car. Beyond that, there's nothing else the app currently asks you to prepare.
