Issues with your reservation

This article is shorter than it should be, because there's a gap here we're not going to paper over: right now, there is no button in Dripbase that lets you open a dispute or report a problem with a job. Below is what's actually true today.

Before work has started

If something's wrong before your detailer has started — wrong time, wrong address, you've changed your mind — cancel the job yourself from the job page. See the article on cancellations for exactly when that's available and what it does. This covers the large majority of "something's wrong" cases that happen early.

Once a detailer has started or finished the job

This is the part that isn't built yet. If a detailer did something wrong while working, or a finished job doesn't look right once you see it in the light, there is currently no in-product way to flag that. Dripbase does have a system for handling this internally — a job can be marked "Support is on it" and routed to a reviewer who can issue a refund or withhold pay from the detailer — but nothing in the app today lets a customer trigger that themselves. It's a path support can put a job on, not one you can reach on your own yet.

What that means in practice, today

If a job goes wrong after work has started, your best option is reaching Dripbase directly outside the app. We don't have a specific support contact method to point you to in this article yet — see the open question below. That's a real gap, not a stand-in for information we didn't want to include.

What we don't do

Dripbase verifies that detailers carry their own auto and liability insurance before they can work — we don't hold a policy on your car ourselves, and there's no Dripbase-run insurance claims process. If a detailer is at fault for damage, that's a matter between you and their insurer, the one we checked they carry.

Written against how Dripbase works today. Rules like pricing, timing, and what we require of a detailer are settings we can change, so this describes the current behaviour rather than a permanent guarantee.
