A problem with finished work, and the reporting window
A problem with a finished job has to be reported within a set time after the job finishes. The time is counted from when the job was marked complete, not from when you looked at the car.
How long you have
Look at the car in daylight as soon as you can. The limit is the same for every job. It is a setting we can change, so this article describes it as it is today.
What reporting does
A report inside the window opens a review. The detailer's pay for that job is held while a person reviews it, and work that was not done can be refunded. It does not promise a refund. A person decides, using what you tell us and the job's record.
There is no report button in the app yet. Email support@getdripbase.com with the job's date and the detailer's name, and say what is wrong. Photos help.
Email support@getdripbase.com
You will get a first reply within 24 hours, every day of the week. A first reply is not always a resolution.
After the window has closed
The job can no longer be reported as a problem, and the detailer's pay is not held for it. You can still email support@getdripbase.com. A person reads it and decides whether to look into it. We cannot promise a refund or a redo.
Where something is unsafe or a detailer behaved badly, say so in the email whatever the time. See What to do if something feels wrong.
Written against how Dripbase works today. Rules like pricing, timing, and what we require of a detailer are settings we can change, so this describes the current behaviour rather than a permanent guarantee.
