After a review is submitted
Here's what we can confirm happens to a review once it exists, and what we can't answer yet.
Can you edit or remove it?
We could not find anything in the code that lets a customer edit or delete a review after it's submitted. That doesn't necessarily mean it's impossible — it means we found no route that does it, so we're not going to tell you either way. If you need a review changed or taken down, treat that as a question for support rather than something you can do yourself, until this article is updated with a real answer.
What the detailer sees
A detailer can see the rating and comment on a review about their work. They have room for exactly one response to it — not an ongoing thread, one reply. What they can't do is leave their own review of you. Reviews on Dripbase run one direction: about the job, from the customer.
When a review gets hidden
A review can be hidden. Hiding it records a timestamp and a reason. Once hidden, that review no longer counts toward the detailer's rating average or rating count — it comes out of the math entirely, not just off the display. We could not confirm from the code who can hide a review or what reasons are valid; that's a moderation action defined in the data model without a visible policy attached to it in this codebase.
Does the customer find out?
We could not confirm whether a customer is told if their review is hidden, or why. If your review disappears and you want to know why, that's a support question for the same reason as above — we're not going to promise a notification we can't point to in the code.
Written against how Dripbase works today. Rules like pricing, timing, and what we require of a detailer are settings we can change, so this describes the current behaviour rather than a permanent guarantee.
