Reviewing your detailer

We could not confirm, from the current product, exactly how or when you're prompted to review a completed job. This article covers what a review consists of, so you know what to expect once that's live — not a walkthrough of a submission screen, because we couldn't verify one exists yet.

What a review covers

A review belongs to one job. Once it's in, it's attached to that job specifically — not to the detailer as a general standing, and not to any other job you've booked with them.

The rating

You give a job a single rating from 1 to 5. You can optionally break that down further with three separate scores: quality of the work, timeliness, and professionalism. Those exist so a rating in the middle is specific rather than vague — a 3-star job where the work was excellent but the detailer arrived late says something different than a 3-star job where they were punctual but the work was rushed. The sub-scores are optional; you can leave a rating without them.

There's also a free-text comment for anything the numbers don't capture.

What happens to what you write

The rating and comment become part of that job's record, and the detailer's overall rating average is calculated from reviews like yours. The detailer can post one response to what you wrote. Beyond that, we can't confirm from the code who else sees the comment, or whether it's shown publicly on a detailer's profile — see Open questions.

What you can't do here

Dripbase does not have a review system for detailers to rate customers. A review only runs in one direction: about the job, from the customer who booked it.

Written against how Dripbase works today. Rules like pricing, timing, and what we require of a detailer are settings we can change, so this describes the current behaviour rather than a permanent guarantee.
